It has come time for me to tell you about something that is super important to me! Rebound WA, formally known as Wheelchair Sports WA. A short explanation, and also the reason behind the name change, is an organisation based in Perth held up by an amazing group of people who's aim is to help West Australians living with physical disabilities live their lives to the fullest extent and steer clear of difficulties.

There is a bazillion ways that they help out. I have had personal experience with the children they help! Members are welcome to every Saturday to join in with a group called Whiz Kids. The activities vary from basketball (the fave) to rugby and sometimes some crafts & team building. The point is that it is are a team, everyone who comes down is included but all jump in a chair to join in and to work on chair skills, sportsmanship and build friendships.

So another absolutely amazing thing that they do is support people who find their life is changed due to accidents and other reasons. I don't by any stretch of the imagination understand how hard this can truly be but Rebound WA's team take the time and effort to alleviate a lot of the pressure that people can find themselves in from such a change. They also show the pathway of how to keep going and give a little push to help people succeed greatness.

Being a charitable organisation, their major support is the community. If you can spare the time, please check in you may be the perfect person for a volunteering opportunity. On the other hand donations are always accepted. Check out the webpage and see the magic \/ \/ \/ \/
