So, I wore a shirt to work the other day which I bought in Amsterdam during the gay pride season. I was super excited to wear it because it was cute, but wow I got looks of judgement. I am 100% all for LGBT rights, I didn't really think this shirt was making a statement but boy I was wrong. I wont lie, I don't care I am proud AF that I support everyone being able to love who they want to.

An amazing young man I grew up with, he is like a brother to me, he is gay he always has been but to be fair he had no chance growing up with three over powering girls! (I am joking) I knew from before I really understood what gay was, but it meant nothing he is still just HIM and he is gorgeous! I never saw him differently and I never really understood that people would treat him differently.

He left school at a young age, he was teased and he hated it. I would talk to him about it being 5 years older than him I thought maybe I could help him get through with my great wisdom. I couldn't but I didn't realise I never understood and probably never will understand because as I say he is the same as me, we grew up the same ate dinner together we made stupid mistakes together and laughed at everything the same.... So why is he so different because he wants to love a man? I love a man, he loves a man to me we are one in the same.

He is now in his niche he is 22 years old, running a successful business and pretty much kicking life in the face. He hasn't changed the way he is and he is someone that I can rely on to be honest in any aspect. He has struggled more than I would ever know because people are so worried about his choices.

I believe everyone has the right to their opinion, after all this is mine. Call me naive if you may but why the hell does it matter who someone chooses to love? Also why does someone else have the right to tell someone else who they can and cant love and spend their life with? The fact it is still a question in our society is beyond ridiculous.
