I should have really said in my last post that there will be more Christmas theme posts, but really did you not get that you I am a lover of Christmas. So I am not religious at all, I have never had a religion to follow and as an adult I am quite thankful that I haven't I'm not entirely sure what I believe in at 27 years old.
I have digressed, I'm sorry. Depending on who you are talking to you will always get a different story for their type of Christmas, whether it be family, religious beliefs and giving. What I want to focus on today is the giving. As I previously mentioned, I love giving presents, the happiness of others and also thinking of the perfect gift and finding it. Call me silly but I take so much pride in that!
Beyond giving to family and friends I think its time, if you don't do so already that is to use this Christmas to spread the giving to some of the less fortunate. I had always seen in movies that people worked in soup kitchens on Thanks Giving and Christmas. I don't really understand how that works, especially given that in Australia its so bloody hot and no one really wants soup on a 35-40 degree day do they?

Most of us know about the Kmart Wishing Tree right? (click the link if you don't) but it lets you buy gifts for a complete stranger who may not get the huge Christmas feast or an abundance of presents under the tree.
Another avenue to go down is the Smith Family appeal, its a similar theory, they assist homeless and less fortunate people try and pick up the pieces. On of their adds around Chritsmas is about helping people have a beautiful christmas and a brighter future for the year to come. Who wouldnt want to help with that?
On a final note please follow the links to some of the charities which are close to my heart which will accept donations not just for Christmas but all year around. Non for profit organisations are supported by donations only so any donation small or big can always help. Can you help this Christmas? Rebound WA Leukeamia Foundation Ronald McDonald House Perth
Spread the Love this Christmas
