So this long weekend was spent in Jurien Bay for me! An underrated beautiful place of Western Australia. I have been going there for around 20 years. So relaxing, this time I was stupid and did something not very relaxing. I jumped out of a plane.
It was my second time and I was about 7 billion times more nervous than the last time because I knew what the deal was. The flight was in this teeny tiny plane, that I usually don’t have a problem in after all I was learning how to fly a cecna 151 from the age of 13. According to my partner it wa the longest I have gone without speaking.
We did the 14,000 feet which meant we got 60 seconds of free fall. Now it’s a huge drop and I know it seems that 60 seconds isn’t much but it’s the most and I would 100% recommend that you must!
The first few seconds I spend working out how to breath and admitting to myself that I was falling to my death. After that it was the most amazing thing! My mind is always running at 70 million miles an hour but before the shute pulls nothing else exists but the pure emptyness of that moment... it is mind blowing.
I had an epic guy taking me for the ride which made the experience even better but this is a must. Firstly to skydive but secondly and most importantly to go to Jurien Bay Skydive to do it. A mixture of amazing people heaps of experience and the most amazing view. ❤️
